I’m MJ de Blanc, a Ph.D. student in the Media, Technology & Society program at Northwestern University. I work with Duri Long and the rest of the Creative Interfaces Research and Design Studio. I consider myself a social scientist who works in human-computer interaction (HCI) and disability studies. I used to be a philosopher, a non-profit person, and organizer.
I generally use they/them pronouns professionally, but she/her is fine, especially in international contexts. You can address me by my first name, but if you want to use a title, Mx. or Mg. work. More information about how to talk about me is on the About page.
